The Maryland STARS are holding a Lottery Ticket Fundraiser for the month of May 2008.

Each team is given tickets to sell. The tickets are two part and serialized 000 through 999 (only 1000 tickets sold). When a ticket is sold the buyer completes the stub with their name, address, and telephone number (please print clearly and provide their complete mail address) and returns it and $5 to the seller (payment must be made at the time of the sale).

During the month of May 2008, the Maryland Evening Pick-3 number will be used to select the winning ticket. The ticket that has the exact same number as the Maryland Evening Pick-3 number for that day will win. Note that winners are only selected for weekdays and Saturdays -- no winners on Sunday. The winning prize each weekday is $50 and for Saturdays, the winning prize is $100. The winning prizes will be mailed to the winner -- thus the reason for complete and clearly printed addresses.

The Maryland STARS treasurer will send out the winnings for the first half of the month after May 15 and then for the second half of the month after the 1st of June.

All ticket sales must be completed and the money and stubs turned in by 4/22-23/2008.
