Want to improve your skills and have fun? The Maryland STARS Fastpitch Softball Youth Camp is for you!

This camp is designed to teach and improve the all-around game play of players ages 7-13. The skills focused on at this camp include: Hitting, Bunting, Fielding, Throwing, Base-running.

Campers will work in small groups on the basics of both offensive and defensive play. Position play will be specific to the individual player. This camp is a great chance to continue building skills for summer softball. Pitchers and catchers will receive special instruction. The camp counselors are former players of the Maryland STARS and/or play softball at the collegiate level.

The camp will be held at Mayeski Park in Carroll County , Maryland during the week of June 23-27, 2008. Directions to Mayeski Park can be found at: http://www.marylandstars.org/pages/common/locations.htm. The deadline for early registration is June 2, 2008.

Time Slots: (A) 9am-12pm or (B) 12:30pm-3:30pm

All players attending the camp will receive a Maryland STARS t-shirt and a personal evaluation of their softball skills. Players should bring all equipment (glove, spikes/sneakers, and bat if they have one) everyday.

The cost is $120 per child per session if post marked by June 2nd. After June 2nd, registration will be $130 per child per session. Checks should be made out to Maryland STARS.
