The Maryland STARS Girls Fastpitch Softball Team Program is searching for volunteers to fill many of the positions in their organization. The STARS are a volunteer-run non-profit organization and depend totally on the work of its volunteers to provide a quality program to their players and families.

These positions include head coaches, assistant coaches, administrators, coordinators, and organizers. Activities that require volunteers include coaching, fundraising, uniform selection, sizing and ordering, web page maintenance, tournament directing, team paperwork organization, field maintenance, equipment management, concession stand management, trading pin design, contest and vendor selection, and many other tasks.

Tasks can be shared among one or more volunteers so that the total work load on any one individual is small.
